Notification and Publication
Review Process
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed. All submissions will be considered for a poster session.
Notification of Abstract Status
- For those that require abstract approval before early bird registration is closed please submit the abstract before January 2, 2015 and you will receive notification of whether it was accepted by January 8, 2015.
- All other presenting authors will receive an email notification of abstract acceptance and scheduling in early February. Notices will be sent to presenting authors only. It is the responsibility of the presenting author to inform all co-authors of the abstract acceptance status and of poster presentation scheduling information.
- All abstract status e-mail notifications will be sent by bulk e-mail. Please note that web-based email accounts (i.e. Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, or Yahoo) may automatically place bulk e-mail messages into the junk mail folder. Please check both your inbox and your junk mail folder for your notification e-mail.
- If you have not received notification of your status by mid-February, please contact ABRF at abrf@courtesyassoc.com.
- It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure that the ABRF has a valid and current email address for the presenting author. This will ensure timely notice of your abstract status.
Publication
Accepted abstracts will be published in the ABRF 2015 Meeting Program and in the Journal of Biomolecular Techniques*. Abstracts will be standardized in regard to font and presentation. Please proofread abstracts before submission, since they will not be edited. Any errors that appear in the submitted abstract will also appear in the printed version.
*Note: Any abstracts whose authors withdrew or did not appear at the conference will not be published in the Journal of Biomolecular Techniques.
