Satellite Workshops
Eight (8) Satellite Workshops will be offered at ABRF 2018:
- (SW1) Proteomic DIA Workflow (Half Day, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
- (SW2) The Galaxy Platform as an Accessible, Core Laboratory Solution for Proteogenomic Analysis and Informatics (Half Day, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
– This workshop is paired with the Workshop 1 – Proteomic DIA Workflow - (SW3) How Do You Increase Your Visibility in the World? Explore Free Marketing Tools & Best Practices for Core Facilities (Half Day, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
- (SW4) Bridging the Gap: Isolation to Translation (Single Cell RNA-seq) (Full Day, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
- (SW5) Lean Tools for Effective Core Management (Full Day, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
- (SW6) How to Write and Review Scientific Papers (Evening, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm on Tuesday, April 24)
– Please note this SW has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict with the presenter. All current registrants will be contacted and offered the option to register for another SW or receive a full refund. - (SW7) ABRF-NRMN Mentorship (Full Day, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
- (SW8) Microbiome and Metagenomics Benchtop to Bioinformatics; Technical approaches to Sequencing, DNA Extractions, and Data Analysis (Full day, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
- (SW9) Hands-on Light Sheet Microscopy (Full Day, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 22)
Please note:
The two proteomics workshops – SW1 Proteomic DIA Workflow and SW2 Galaxy Platform – can be paired. Attend both for the same cost as a Full Day Workshop.
The maximum number of registrants for the workshop “Lean Tools for Effective Core Management” is 32.
The maximum number of registrants for the workshop “Hands-on Light Sheet Microscropy” is 20.
